‘Twas a month before Christmas, when all through the resort
Everyone was preparing, all in good sport.
The kennels were painted, fresh as can be,
The decorations were hung, by he, she and me!
The fur kids were jumping and excited to stay,
With visions of playmates and a fun holiday.
The men working hard, the girls running fast,
To have it all ready and make it all last.
New fences going up and all dug in,
Secure play yards for big dogs and their kin.
Cat boxes to wrap in Christmas cheer,
For felines to hide in while they are here.
Small dogs need decorations all put up high
Where small paws and nose-reach can’t even try.
The emails keep coming, and the phone keeps ringing,
While carols are playing to hear Christmas singing.
